Mary Risner

I develop and manage initiatives that integrate the study of foreign language and area studies across the curriculum. I have taught language at a variety of K–16 levels, as well as in corporate environments. My research interests are in the role of culture in international business and the integration of emerging technologies to develop intercultural competence and foreign language skills for the workplace.

In my personal time I enjoy being on the ocean, traveling, bike riding, and having fun with friends and family.
