Rita is a special person that has touched so many of our lives. Those of us who have known Rita for many years, as well as those who have just met her recently, can all attest to her deep spirituality and love of God, her ability to talk to ANYONE and make instant friends and her commitment to making life better for those around her. She is an amazing mother of three, grandma to eight and a great-grandma once...so far! Rita is a fabulous cook (especially those chocolate chip cookies), talented in a multitude of crafts and artistic endeavors and a card-carrying member of Shoeaholics Anonymous. Her favorite food is donuts and even though she tells the grandkids she prefers broccoli, they all know to order a whole dozen from the donut shop if she's along. Rita brightens any room she walks into and can always find a way to make the best of any situation. She has given so much of her life to nurturing her family, her friends and her church, and we are all so blessed to have her in our lives.
