Rita is a Brand Ambassador for AfricaTalentBank.com (ATB) a company that utilizes technology to identify, train and recruit top talents for startup to multinational companies. An opportunity not granted to many, Rita seeks to go beyond herself and help scale the company to greater horizons.
Rita is a mentor, innovator and an aspiring engineer, passionate about women empowerment through education. She is a fifth year Electrical and Electronics engineering student at Kenyatta University (2016). She is also a certified cisco networking associate (CCNA).
Rita has also been an ambassador for WMIAfrica and volunteers for the WomEng Kenya. Organizations that both deal with growing female engineering leaders for the development of today’s society.
Rita has worked as an Electrical and Electronics Engineer intern at Rift Valley Railways and Camusat Kenya where she gained valuable expereince in the field of power and telecommunications.
In the spirit of innovation and teamwork, she has participated in different competitions. Some hosted by Intel Kenya and the most recent been the Negawatt challenge 2015 hosted at the Strathmore University.
