Successful entrepreneur and computer engineer Ritesh Jain has spent over a decade establishing himself as an innovative technology professional. Since 2001, Ritesh Jain has worked with Echelon Corporation, the world’s leading open-standard energy control networking company. Echelon connects 35 million homes and 300,000 buildings to the smart grid, thereby optimizing efficient and sustainable energy usage. During various roles at the company beginning with Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Project Manager and lately Product manager, Ritesh Jain has directed web services and software products that have increased both customer satisfaction and company profits.

In addition to his work with Echelon Corporation, Ritesh Jain is also the founder of his own technology startup company, Fun and Learn Apps. Established in 2010, Fun and Learn Apps creates applications for the Android market. Ritesh Jain’s focus is on developing and delivering applications that are entertaining and educational. He handles all design, implementation, and marketing for company products. Within only a few months of the startup’s creation, thousands of people have downloaded Fun and Learn Apps’ products and the company has received many rave reviews from customers. Using data analytics and market promotions, he improved application performance and visibility.

Ritesh Jain received his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Kurukshetra, India. He then earned his Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Ritesh Jain also holds a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business, where he focused on strategic management and entrepreneurship. A lover of sports, Ritesh Jain has played in many tennis and badminton tournaments. He is an avid astrophotographer and has successfully clicked pictures of Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. He is also the founder of Let’s Adventure, a social group designed to encourage people to become active and experience adventure in their lives.
