Mathew Ritter
Like most humans I have far too many goals, so I'll stick to a few.
I want to tell stories. Not moving ones, because I don't know how to move other people. Not sad stories, because I don't know what makes other people cry, and not exciting ones, because I don't know what makes people cheer. I want to tell my stories, because I know what makes me cry, what moves me, and what makes me cheer. If I'm lucky, maybe what moves me, will also be what moves others, and in this way I can move the world. A goal is supposed to be hokey right?
I also want to show the world that pixel art is more than a technical limitation that needs to be moved through. That it in itself is an art form as valid of use and expression as any other. Like still life or mosaic before it. A specific style with a specific feel that has uses beyond making a single generation feel nostalgic.
