Longtime Louisville, Kentucky resident Ritzy Montaner Robert entered the medical field shortly after earning a credential in phlebotomy. Ritzy Montaner Robert trained as a phlebotomy technician. She completed her externship with the diagnostic firm LabCorp. In this role, she provided patient care and collected blood samples for testing.
While finishing her certification, Ritzy Montaner Robert also worked as a server for the Havana Rumba Express, a tapas restaurant specializing in Cuban cuisine. Her experience in the food industry contributed to her taking over her mother’s successful tamale business, which she rebranded as Cary Food Products.
