What is POSH Training?

Posh at Work:Organizations must ensure that their employees, managers, directors, and so on are educated on what actions and/or words constitute sexual harassment, how to get justice if they have been harassed, and how not to cross limits so that you yourself are not a harasser. In order to provide a safe and gender-neutral posh at work environment, one must be aware of what constitutes "sexual harassment" and the laws related to it in detail under POSH training. Employee POSH training and awareness campaigns are a necessity in order to be POSH compliant.

What is the importance of posh at work?

For the following reasons, POSH training is critical for an organisation:

• Employee POSH Training:It assists in familiarising workers with best practices at work, such as educating both genders on sexual harassment, training them to discriminate between appropriate and unsuitable workplace behaviours, and informing them about the redressal mechanism.
• Executives POSH Training:Training the higher-ups is also necessary to educate them on the need for gender equality.
• Internal Complaints Committee (ICC):Under the POSH Laws, every organisation with more than ten workers are required to organise an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC). This committee must be led by a "female presiding officer." The ICC investigates and resolves sexual harassment cases. POSH training thoroughly educates the ICC about the topic of sexual harassment, preparing it to handle complaints and settle issues linked to sexual harassment.
