I am Rixongile Lusiba, a developing teacher who is involved in the field of ICT and at heart-with passion for transformative teaching and learning. I think that education is more than just delivering content. It should be thoughtful, and have learner-centered strategies, creating the conditions where students want to be active agents in their own learning. My teaching philosophy is based on inclusion, digital equity, and lifelong learning. I want to create learning spaces that foster curiosity, support collaboration, use technology not just as a tool but as a bridge to deep understanding.
One of my larger desired educational contributions is to work hand in hand with the department of education to make sure that there is an integration of ICT in teaching across schools. I aim to support teachers to develop their own digital confidence and pedagogical expertise through training programs, curriculum materials, and professional development courses. I want to be an influential part of the education system that is innovative, future-oriented, and consistent with the new expectations of 21st century learners.
