After building captivating content for the White House and Hello Giggles in their “Women Working to Do Good” series featuring female changemakers, I initially joined GOOD in 2012 as an Associate Features Editor, creating editorial and infographic content with the sales team for Apollo, Purina, GAP, Starbucks, and Google. Understanding the needs of clients to connect with good.is members, I took initiative in building the good.is community by simultaneously researching changemakers to write about their crowdsourced and crowdfunding projects for a series I created called Push for Good, GOOD’s Guide to Crowdsourcing Creative Progress. Through this series, I helped over 100 projects get funded, raising up to $2,000,000 total.
Due to my passion for storytelling and building community, I am now helping create micromovements on good.is while writing content for Idealist Careers about unexpected roles in the impact space. Fully immersed in supporting the aspiring changemakers of good.is and millennials of Idealist, my strong knowledge of the social impact space is valuable for the future growth of editorial teams as the world shifts to becoming more socially responsible.
