Robert Botelho
Amherst, Massachusetts, United States
My name is Robert Botelho and I am a highly motivated Hospitality and Tourism Management student at the Isenberg School of Management. I am very interested in working in hotels to learn customer relations and management skills in the hospitality industry. I am on course to graduate in Advanced Hotel Management and am eager to learn revenue management and sales aspects of hotels. Outside of the classroom I spend my time being an involved member of the American Hotel & Lodging Association where we network with industry professionals and attend hotels all over the east coast.
I have been interested in the travel industry my entire life and am always looking at ways to advance my cultural background. I travelled all over the world having a mother as a flight attendant and there is still much of this Earth I would like to see. I will be studying abroad in Florence, Italy in Spring of 2015 to experience a new culture and gain skills in the tourism industry.
I would like to work in Europe or outside the US. one day because I believe international business is a growing industry with a lot of opportunity. Getting the chance to live and interact with different cultures will help me achieve my passion of becoming a dynamic, diverse, and well-rounded individual.
