Racquel Cranston

My name is Racquel Cranston and I was born on January 7, 1997 to two beautiful parents. I am currently a first year student at the University of Georgia and my intended major is accounting. With that degree I plan on becoming an accountant for a large corporation. I am the oldest out of my siblings which includes a brother whose name is Robert and a sister whose name is Jenelle. As the oldest child I had to be both a protecting and loving older sister and role model. My family comes from the beautiful island of Jamaica, but I was born and raised in Georgia.

As a student I enjoy being very involved and participating in different clubs and activities. I am a person who likes to be active and participate in different sports. My favorite sport and the sport that I played all through high school was basketball. While in college I plan on continuing my involvement in clubs and making sure to network with the different students and professors I meet. I am an open minded person who loves to learn and will take an advantage at every opportunity I am given. I look forward to learning and growing more as a person. I can not wait to see what the future holds for me.
