For the past three decades, Raymond J. “RJ” Fitch has been working in the biotech and healthcare industries. Over the course of his career, RJ Fitch has developed strong organizational management skills and demonstrated an ability to organize and motivate teams of more than 900 individuals.
Currently, Mr. Fitch leverages his extensive experience to oversee full site operations as the Chief Operating Officer & General Manager for the WuXi Advanced Therapies site in Philadelphia, Pa. The work includes the full CDMO life cycle of clinical and commercial manufacturing, testing, supply chain and quality for viral vector agents, cell therapies, and CAR-T products. Additionally in this role, he oversees 800 persons at four different facilities and is responsible for new facility start-up activities, facility maintenance, and health & safety.
Beyond his practical experience, RJ Fitch relies on his education. He graduated from Philadelphia University with a bachelor’s degree in biology, then earned an executive MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business in 2011.
