Having grown up in northern Minnesota, I started working with a Minneapolis-based independent film production company editing, acting and producing short and feature-length films. I founded and directed an independent film and screenplay competition – Underground Exposure Film Festival - drawing over 400 submissions in its first year. I have written three screenplays and just published by first novel - Seven Strange Years.
Seven Strange Years is a compilation of letters that tell the tales of a mad traveler buzzing around the country wreaking havoc wherever he lands, pieced together in jail as Johnny scours the letters for evidence that might save him from years in prison. And reading letters rife with tales of freedom and adventure is nothing short of torture when you're stuck in jail.
