Dr. Robert Schwartz

Robert Schwartz wasn’t going to make a good physicist. When he entered Yale University as an undergraduate, it seemed the logical choice. He had an aptitude for science and his overachieving family home in Montreal expected him to make a difference. But while his colleagues found beauty in the law of inertia—Robert was not equally moved. Rather, the most compelling force in Robert’s life had always been and remains people—his family, friends, and ultimately his patients. More than defining any laws of nature, it would be his ability to help redefine others that would be his greatest talent. Consequently, by his junior year at Yale, he had changed his major to pre-med and his focus to neuroscience. Graduating summa cum laude, he was awarded a Regents Scholarship for academic excellence at UCLA School of Medicine.

Today, based in Dallas and licensed and certified in Texas and California, Dr. Schwartz has emerged as a destination surgeon for patients across the United States seeking the highest level of individual care. “Plastic Surgery Today,” his popular radio show on Free-FM Live 105.3, also attracts listeners nationwide via Internet stream and podcast, and he has appeared as an expert on many national television shows including America at Night, The Yolanda Gaskins Show, The Marty Griffin Show, The Popoff Report and The Debbie Mandel Show. Having authored more than a dozen articles, Dr. Schwartz speaks frequently to professional groups on plastic surgery. He is certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, and the American College of Surgeons.
