Hello I Ronnie Kenyatta. I am 45 yrs old and I am from Cheverly, Md and Richmond, Va. I am a Performance Coach (I train athletes). I was a Strength and Conditioning Coach in Professional Baseball for 12 years (2001-2013).
In 2002 I was diagnosed with FSGS a Chronic Kidney Disease. I was forced to retire from my job in 2013 due to my kidney disease. In 2016 I started dialysis. On July 18th, 2017 I had a kidney transplant that has changed my life. My long time friend Liam Pelot (pictured above on the left) was my kidney donor.
Liam is also 45 yrs old. Liam is also from Cheverly Md. Liam and I playedT Ball together and attended Radford Universitytogether. Liam lived in Atlanta for 18 yrs. He was Commercial Lender VP at GA Primary Bank in Buckhead. Liam currently lives in Portland, OR where he owns a chain of organic restaurants.
This kidney transplant has changed my outlook on life. I am currently feeling like I did prior to my kidney disease. My goal is to create awareness about kidney transplants, organ donation and natural kidney care.
