I'm a copy editor who thankfully is employed outside of the unstable newspaper business. I'm a proofreader for a national non-profit organization. I've enjoyed the nights, weekends and holidays off since 2010, but I loved my 27 years working for newspapers. I am the proud dad to two sons and have been happily married for 28 years. I've run 40 marathons (I'm Marathon Maniac No. 8400) and am a hopeless politics junkie. I am a long-suffering Cubs fan, and have attended every postseason series clinching victory since 1908 ... which means I was in Atlanta for Game 5 of their NL division series in 2003.
