Renée Lacroix

Born and bred in Canada, Renée trained as a Fashion Designer at Collège LaSalle and the École supérieure de mode de Montréal before landing a position as an outerwear designer in one of the country's leading apparel companies. During her studies, she completed an internship in Italy and traveled to Peru to volunteer for an NGO working with indigenous female weavers. In 2010 she moved to London to pursue a Master's Degree in Sustainable Design at the London College of Fashion and co-founded slow fashion label Antithesis shortly after graduation. After three years of working as Creative Director and freelancing as a pattern cutter, she launched London Pattern Bureau, a pattern cutting and sampling studio based in Bermondsey, South London.
