Linzy Browne
marketing, event planner, and Volunteer in Stafford, Virginia
Marketing and public relations professional.
To begin, I hail from central Florida and a proud graduate from the University of West Florida where I studied Communications with a focus in Public Relations and Environmental Policy. My back ground in marketing began through my passion and personal involvement in community outreach programs. From early on, I have acquired a talent in program planning and campaigns, and with a successful history. I like to think marketing is my destiny.
After college I was fortunately granted with an enlightening internship with the Wilderness Society headquartered in Washington D.C. Here I developed an understanding of national outreach campaigns. My responsibilities included research, writing op-eds, and prepared supporting content manuals for legislation in motion for Capitol Hill.
My time with the Wilderness Society was invigorating and lead me on a new path that emerged with an opportunity to benefit Virginia directly through tourism and craft beer. I joined the marketing team at Ale House Holdings, where I managed marketing initiatives including brand recognition, graphics and creative design, web development, social media engagement, promotional material, campaigns for print and digital drive, and oversaw the community outreach and sponsorship opportunities.
Through networking, I have been granted the opportunity to work with other businesses and organizations serving on several committees and boards including Virginia Green Travel Alliance, the Alzheimer’s Concerns and Awareness committee, and the Extraordinary Women’s Exchange through the Richmond Chamber of Commerce.
Marketing comes in several forms, endless opportunities and is important for any program, business, organization or movement to be successful. This is my passion. I am emerged and I love it! Thank you for taking the time to read a little about me, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you would like to learn more.
