Renée Lizotte

Hello! I'm Renée Lizotte, a native of Washington State and a full-time French and Spanish to English translator based in Spain, which has been my home since 2004. With an accumulated experience of 10 years living in France, Germany and Spain and 8 years of full-time work as a translator—both in-house and as a freelancer, I have learned firsthand the ins and outs of the French and Spanish cultures, and hold two BA honors degrees in language and literature: one in French and the other in Spanish, both earned at the University of Washington (Seattle). I also hold a Master's degree in International Development and NGO Management from the University of Granada (Spain) and have gained hands-on experience in this field through field visits to various countries and internships with NGOs. Friends and colleagues describe me as being naturally inquisitive and having a gift for language and writing. This enthusiasm and passion for language led to founding Interllingua, which provides translation, localization, editing and a variety of other language-related services in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German and Arabic. You can find out more about Interllingua by visiting www.interllingua.com.
