Raquel M. Arredondo is a Professional Development Consultant with over 20 years of experience working in corporate training & development, recruiting, and higher education. She earned her BA in Psychology from George Mason University, an MA in Student Personnel Services from Rowan University and her PHR from the Society of Human Resource Management. Additionally, Raquel is a certified facilitator for BlessingWhite’s MPG Executive Level Coaching workshop and Communico’s MAGIC Customer Service training systems.

Her experiences have ranged from Student Services Specialist for Penn State University, Training Consultant/ University Specialist for PHH Mortgage, and Employer Relations Manager at Rutgers University. Raquel currently is an independent Career Management Consultant offering such services as resume writing, interview preparation, interviewing strategies and recruitment management. She also serves on the faculty of Drexel University LeBow College of Business and Rutgers University-Camden School of Business as an Adjunct Professor. Most recently, she has partnered with UrbanPromise in Camden, NJ as a professional development and leadership consultant. Raquel is the Delaware Valley Alumni Ambassador Recruiter for George Mason University, and is a member of the Wharton Council for Employer Relations at the University of Pennsylvania.

Raquel has been invited to speak on the topics of “Achieving Success in the Workplace”, “Creating a Professional Image”, “Resume Writing”, “Preparing for the Perfect Interview”, “Dining Etiquette” and “Achieving Success After High School and College” at leadership conferences and workshops in the Philadelphia area. She enjoys working with students and sharing her “interview room” experiences with the hope that they will have a better understanding of how to effectively create a personal brand, network, and most importantly convey the skills needed to get a ahead in today’s competitive job market.
