Ryan Mavaro

My name is Ryan Mavaro. I'm from New York. I go to school at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and study Sport Management. I have a strong connection with the game of hockey. I have played it my whole life and now currently intern for the UMass Men's Ice Hockey team. It is fitting that my hobby growing up has transformed into my career aspiration. I am a huge fan of the NHL and root for the New York Rangers. I attend Madison Square Garden often to see them play. I would love to work for an NHL organization in the near future and I believe the experience I have has helped me take a few steps in the right direction. I hope to continue this pursuit this summer and land an internship in the NHL offices in New York. It has been a dream of mine my whole life to work in hockey and I hope to fulfill this dream in short time.
