Growing up the oldest of three, I knew I had to set a positive example for my brothers. Especially with my mother being so hard on us and wanting us to grow up and be hardworking men. My mother was just afraid of us going into the real world because she felt as though we weren't prepared. I told her " Trust me, I'll make you proud". With that being said my brothers have followed in my foot steps and they both attend college today.
I am currently a Sophomore at NCCU majoring in Recreation Administration with a concentration in Sports Management and coaching minor. My goal is to graduate and own my own recreational center for our youth. I also want to become one of the biggest AAU coaches in basketball and just want to give back to the community. I was blessed enough to play four years varsity in high school but didn't get a chance to play for a collegiate team. I hope to change the lives of the youth by encouraging them to be the best that they can be.
