Known in the music world as a solid and melodic bass player, Ruben Montoya is in demand in the studios, the clubs and in the concert halls. He has performed with various artists and can play a variety of different styles. Currently he is a member of the NorCal based band "White Flag" along with his brothers, Jonathan Montoya (lead vocals, lead guitar) and Michael Montoya (drums). Ruben's work spans genres and he has been seen in numerous stage performances. Ruben's biggest influences in his development are the likes of Flea, Tony Kanal, Eric Wilson, Robert Trujillo, Darryl Jenifer, and many others.
