Obviously, as the name indicates, I am Rachel, and I am one of the most wonderfully strange people you'd ever meet.

I study at a local community college, because getting a degree for transfer from a community college costs a lot less than going straight to a four year. I plan to go all the way and get a doctorate in something to do with quantum physics, because it's the most beautiful thing I could think of doing. My dream job is working for CERN someplace in Europe. (I'd die of happiness if I got to work at the LHC if something better hasn't come along by the time I'm through with school.)

I love science. But I also love music, art, literature, and I have never broken the habit of studying religions and esotericism. I'm a prolifically unpublished novelist and comic book writer. I draw silly things and I love computers and video games.

I own and operate Lotus Photo and Art, a small photography business, out of my house. I primarily focus on video and editing, while my husband and partner in crime takes the pretty pictures of people. We work mostly in the local music scene, which is more fun than you could ever imagine unless you also work in the local music scene. Our number one clients are a band called Equal Opposites, and you should check them out on YouTube or on their Facebook page, which I manage.
