Rita Nayar

I am Rita Nayar. Like Morrie, ALS took over my body while i was on a one year spiritual retreat in California. That was May 2011.

You can read more about ALS in my blogs, but it is a fatal disease which has no known cause or cure. The average life span is 2-5 years, with 10% lasting more than 5 years. Never have i ever felt so confined in my body.

But my mind is sharp! Never have i ever felt so free in my spirit, either.

I have lived a full life of travel, journeyed with spiritual Masters, and worked in a competitive corporate world as well. I have lost a husband and a son, but have been lucky to have been left with an amazing daughter and a wonderful son-in-law. I now teach spirituality in the form of Vedanta and Upanishads to an enthusiastic group of inspired seekers.

I will share my stories and moments with you going forward.
