I am an American Coffee Roaster living in Amsterdam, Netherlands. After working for 10 years for companies, I decided that in order continue to evolve, I would have to start my own company. Caffe Dolce Alchemia is my current project.

Caffe Dolce Alchemia is a multifaceted company. Of course, the main company activity is roasting, but I also do quite a lot of experimentation. I ship personalized roasts worldwide. This means that I do not roast before an order is placed, and I roast exactly for each person's preferences.

One of the main goals for the company is to develope an Open Source coffee roaster. The point of this is to redesign the drum style machines, and once the prototype is built; to release the designs out into the universe.

There are many advantages to this, but the main one is to help coffee farmers improve their roasting techniques and making the technology available to everyone.
