Mostly a family man - I love spending time with my wife and 3 kids, and especially going on holidays with them...which happily is part of my job! I'm really lucky that I work from home, so get to spend a lot of time the family.

I am the founder & co-owner of SouthAfrica.TO - which I like to think of as the leading online travel agency in South Africa :)

We're particularly involved in the provision of cheap flights, car rentals, accommodation, cruises and hot air ballooning in SA.

A while back I realised that instead of paying professionals to do our content writing, I'd prefer to pay our loyal readers and clients! So, we started a travel voucher system whereby we give away travel vouchers to anybody who does a write-up of their flights or other travel experiences.

So, by making use of our airline price comparison systems, and then also writing about the experience, our clients can achieve lower flight costs than anywhere else.

We're also heavily involved in cruises, locally we offer cruises from Durban and from Cape Town; and also cover a large spectrum of international cruises.

I'm a big fan of Google/+ and spend a lot of time there every day. In particular I'm active on the Travel South Africa forum, cricket, rugby and investment forums.

Before my life in travel I spent 17 years working in financial services, and I still do a bit of investment consulting. To give back to the community I run a free investment advice website.
