During my working career, I have always endeavoured to be the best technically that I can be, and to always understand what businesses need from IT and motivate those around me to understand the impact they have with the solutions we/I put together in any IT project. Through my extensive experience I have developed strong technical and interpersonal skills along with a comprehensive working knowledge on all aspects of technology from Mobile phones, workstations and operating systems to servers, infrastructure and VOIP. This knowledge has enabled me to create computing systems utilising several features that are fully integrated into other systems in the business but also fully assist the business and help increase productivity and profitability.
Heading up a team of 5, I solely manage, support and budget all Optimisa's telephone and computer networks, working with 3 separate management teams within Optimisa Plc, I set objectives for the year with budgets after understanding the needs and weaknesses in that business in the previous year and working with vendors and internal teams to evaluate and deliver solutions across a wide spectrum. Working close to senior members within the organisation has allowed me understand what businesses need from IT and not just to be a reactive IT person, but to also be an accountable member of the management team whilst also delivering the solutions myself.
