Rob Howes

Personal: I grew up in the sunny Algarve in Portugal where my parents ran a restaurant, and several other businesses. I attended an International school with children from 26 different countries, which helped shape my outlook on cultural differences. Moved to the UK in my teens which was a big culture shock. In 1997 I got the opportunity to relocate to Sydney, Australia for nearly three years. We moved back the UK, settling in Marlow with the family. My friends tell me I have weird obsessions about social media, shoes, sherry, and piri piri sauce.

Professional: Four years working alongside Peter Jones CBE, entrepreneur and star on BBC's Dragons Dens and American Inventor. Ten years in financial markets content and applications working for companies now known as Thomson Reuters. Ten years helping ambitious Silicon Valley software companies accelerate their footprint in the financial services market.
