My career in sales has taught me a lot over the years. I have learned a lot about people as well as myself. I have learned you must believe in the product or service you provide and like the organization you work for. But the most important lesson I have learned is that it is not so much the art of selling as it is the art of human interaction. To put it another way, sales starts with selling yourself. And selling yourself means understanding your client. Nobody is going to buy something from you if they don’t like you!
