Life has been quite diverse for me. Starting out at 15, I dropped out of high school and the first thing I bought was an (electric) guitar. Taking lessons in classical guitar over four years on an electric guitar was quite unusual, more so for my teacher. At the age of 20, I bought a piano, and the piano has stuck with me for the last 30 years. I settled on a career in music, but writing always maintained its strong influence over me. After many years study to become a composer and with seven years schooling in compositions and orchestration, writing became stronger than my love of music.

I’ve had my writing published in a variety of newspapers, magazines, books and online. As a poet my writings all have a distinct style. You can sometimes feel my poetical influences in my prose and you will find that all of my words have a way of getting under your skin - in a good way. Some of my favourite authors are Patrick White, H.G. Wells, Vladimir Nabokov, and Ayn Rand. H.G. Wells is a particular influence on me. His ideas of social justice lie at the heart of a lot of my writings and thoughts. Along with the great inventive and dramatic ideas that Wells brought to his writing, my aim is to bring not only the dramatic but that inner world of seldom spoken feeling and wants out onto the page.

I have just compiled a book of my short stories, poems, and drawings. I have written a novel titled The Damaged. My next book, Painted, will be finished in 2013. I also released in 2013 a dramatic cross genre story, The Disease. I am also compiling a book of short stories in collaboration with over 20 writers, titled The Book of Fascination.

Below are links to various online sites where some of my writing is published.
