Rob Messinger

I am an experienced leader with nearly 20 years of experience in journalism, and I've done a variety of things since leaving that world. I've built online courses, run social-media campaigns and consulted with organizations small and large on how to communicate effectively in the digital world.

I currently am director of communcations at Ohio State University's Office of Business & Finance. So it's nice to put my M.B.A. to use, and I suspect my training as a Six Sigma green belt will come in handy as well.

In the past, I led reporting teams at The Columbus Dispatch. During my newspaper career, I also served time as wire editor, copy editor and reporter. I also dabbled in arts coverage as a free-lancer and in college.

In short, I know how to lead people and projects. I know how to tell and shape stories in print, on the web or on social media. And I've learned how to apply Six Sigma techniques to achieve continuous improvement.
