Robb Stein is an entrepreneur and longtime real estate investor who has spent more than 20 years building and leading businesses. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, he developed strong ties to the community early in life. Over time, he has combined his professional work with a commitment to supporting local organizations and initiatives. Through volunteer work, board service, and charitable contributions, he has remained active in efforts that benefit individuals and families throughout the region.
Stein is the principal owner of the Cincinnati Byrider location, which is part of a national dealership network known for selling inspected and reconditioned vehicles. The dealership also offers in-house financing programs designed to help customers build or improve their credit history. These programs report to the major credit bureaus and allow many buyers to access reliable transportation while working toward stronger financial stability. Across the country, more than one million customers have trusted Byrider as their dealership of choice.
In addition to this role, Robert Stein serves as President of Derojo, Inc., a Cincinnati-based company that operates across several business sectors. The organization owns and manages auto dealerships, subprime finance companies, a real estate development group, and a reinsurance company. The company often focuses on businesses operating in specialized markets where additional investment and operational restructuring can create new growth opportunities.
He also serves as Chairman of Card Sound Reinsurance Group, which focuses on selected high-risk exposures that can provide stronger returns in favorable tax environments. Alongside these responsibilities, he leads another major venture in the automotive industry. Robert Stein, of Cincinnati, is the President and owner of Alford Motors, Inc., a recognized one of the largest subprime auto dealer groups. The company combines vehicle sales with financing solutions for customers who may not qualify for traditional bank or auto lender loans.
Beyond business leadership, Robb Stein has remained closely involved with charitable and community work in Cincinnati. He served for nearly a decade on the Board of Directors of the hospice program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. The program focuses on providing palliative care and compassionate support for children and young adults whose medical conditions limit life expectancy. The goal is to help families spend meaningful and comfortable time together during difficult moments.
Robb also served on the board of Living Arrangements for the Developmentally Disabled (LADD) for four years. The organization supports adults with developmental disabilities by helping them live independently, gain employment, and stay connected with their communities through training and supportive programs.
Stein's volunteer work also includes involvement with the American Heart Association, where he helped launch the organization’s Young Professionals committee and participated in leadership initiatives to raise awareness of heart health and support fundraising. In addition, he served as a former co-chair of Fall Feast Cincinnati. He spent more than a decade on the steering committee, helping coordinate volunteers who provide meals and services to thousands of people in need each Thanksgiving.
Robb Stein earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in Bloomington. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, skiing, boating, and outdoor challenges.
