Robin Gibson is a social worker in the Seattle area. Ms. Robin has been in this practice for the last 3 years, and focuses mainly on racial diversity issues. She graduated from the North Seattle College with a degree in liberal arts, and was among the top students in the 2014 class. She has a wealth of experience handling race related issues, having worked as a mental health counselor at Stophate in Oregon. Robin has also worked as a counselor for Ellington partners. Here she has handled a wide variety of cases involving victims of race related trauma on issues such as preparing them mentally for legal cases where they have to act as witnesses, or as the accusers. Robin also works as a consultant through her firm, Robin associates. Through her consultancy work, she has managed to help more than 2000 victims of racial trauma get through their negative experiences. Robin is also involved in the political arena and has been active in the Seattle area politics for the last two years. Using her vast experience in issues to do with racial trauma, she has managed to convince both democrats and republicans in Seattle to incorporate people of color in their local governance structures. Ms. Robin also loves giving back to the society. She has set up a foundation, the Robin Gibson foundation for the needy that is focused on homeless children. Through this foundation, she has managed to help out 200 homeless children and their families, get their lives back on track.
