Committed to enhancing the nation’s capital, in 2002 Robb LaKritz and his business partner Joshua Adler founded LaKritz Adler Development in Washington, D.C., with a start-up fund of $10,000. In the following years, the company has grown into one of the region’s leading real estate investment, development, and management companies, with a property portfolio valued at $100 million. Robb LaKritz and his firm first focused on projects in the city’s historic Shaw neighborhood, where they restored a 3,000-square-foot plumbing supply shop from a decaying structure into a worthy representation of the historic building it was once. More recently, the company acquired a property from Starbucks Corporation at the corner of Connecticut Avenue and Dupont Circle and renovated the building to its full potential.

Robb LaKritz began his career as an attorney at Baker Donelson, also in Washington, D.C. He belonged to the firm’s international and China practices and worked with a number of Fortune 50 clients. Mr. LaKritz earned his JD from Emory University and received a certificate in foreign legal studies from East China University of Politics and Law in Shanghai.
