Rob Bodnar

Hey guys! My name is Rob Bodnar. I'm a 22 year old college student living in Clifton, NJ. I have lived here for my whole life. I attend Montclair State University and I am a Communication major with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Business.

I have worked at Stop and Shop in Clifton since 2010 and am currently a Customer Service/Front End supervisor. I enjoy working with the public and enjoy meeting new people and helping customers. I feel that working in a fast-paced environment like this has helped me build stronger communication skills due to having to constantly serve the customers and make sure they are given the most positive experience possible.

I also actively fundraise for my job for their various yearly promotions. Recently, I have been raising money for our "Triple Winner" campaign, where we partnered with Sloan-Kettering Memorial Cancer Center. Scratch-off lotteries are an ever-growing trend, so the partnership developed a $1 scratch off, where the proceeds go to children's cancer research and every ticket purchased is a winner, as each ticket reveals a coupon once it is scratched off. The partnership has been hosting events to raise money as well by joining with local establishments who support the cause, most recently a local bowling alley hosting a tournament with proceeds going to cancer research.

Outside of school and work, I enjoy traveling as much as possible--both in and out of the country. I've always been a fan of New York City and enjoy going in on the weekends to check out different museums, festivals and broadway shows.
