Rob DuBois is the expert on influence who was labeled a “smart power authority” while assisting U.S., British, and Iraqi forces in Baghdad. A multilingual Navy SEAL with experience in thirty-six nations, he retired young from military service ten years ago…then headed right back into Iraq and Afghanistan to support U.S. commanders grappling with complex threat situations.

Rob founded Impact Actual to unleash leaders and teams to “make a difference” — whether in the boardroom, the bedroom, or the battlefield, we all have room to grow. Through coaching and speaking, Rob teaches that effectiveness is a skill everyone can improve. In fact, we have an obligation to do so. Service to society is not exclusive to service members.

Rob is the author of “Powerful Peace; A Navy SEAL'S Lessons on Peace from a Lifetime at War.” He has appeared in national media including Al Jazeera America, Fox News Radio, and BBC International. His articles on cultural awareness and security assurance have appeared in The Counterterrorist magazine and Investor's Business Daily, and the Small Wars Journal. He does a little acting on the side, and you can see him in AMC Network’s “Turn: Washington’s Spies” (as a snooty Redcoat colonel) and the world’s first virtual reality film, “Snake River” as the Russian terrorist mastermind Boryenka. In 2015 he crossed the Serengeti, with no weapons and virtually no food, for National Geographic’s six-week “MYgrations” series.

Impact Actual and Rob DuBois are based in Honolulu, Hawai’i, but he works anywhere on Earth.
