I've been working as an Analyst formally for a little over a year, however, I've been working with analysis for the majority of my professional career.

Starting in a claims processing center, I moved to the sales side of the trade and started creating contracts, creating reports, and doing some minor analysis with limited data.

When an opportunity presented itself, I made the move, and once I was on board, I began working with many different reports, and a lot more data. Having the data available helped a lot with my love of analysis.

While never formally trained in analysis, it's something I've been working with. I moved into my first Analyst role and worked with the category review process. As turmoil increased in the organization that began selling parts off to other companies, I found my current position.

In my current position I work mostly with reporting and adhoc requests. I am in the process of working with a team to move from a reporting role to using a more predictive and even prescriptive technique in analysis with the data we have.

In my spare time, I spend time with two daughters and wife, and coach part-time with a local swim club.
