Robert formed many of his core values through competitive athletics during his early years. In high school, he participated in football, lacrosse, and wrestling, serving as a three-sport athlete and learning discipline and perseverance. He went on to play lacrosse at the collegiate level, where teamwork and preparation remained central. He remains active through cycling, golf, and pickleball, maintaining a steady commitment to his health. He has also coached hundreds of young athletes in youth sports programs, encouraging effort, accountability, and consistent improvement.

Robert Crothers began his career in financial services in the mid-1980s and obtained his Series 7 and Series 63 licenses in 1987. These credentials allowed him to work directly with clients in the securities markets and build long-term advisory relationships. As regulations and client expectations evolved, he earned the Series 66 license, qualifying him as an Investment Advisor Representative and fiduciary. His Life and Health Insurance licenses enable him to assist with annuities, life insurance, and long-term care coverage. He further strengthened his expertise by earning the Retirement Income Certified Professional designation, focusing on retirement income distribution planning.

Robert has guided clients through multiple economic cycles, including market expansions, downturns, and periods of uncertainty. Over nearly four decades, he has observed how shifting interest rates, inflation, and equity performance can affect personal financial plans. For 23 years, he operated under a recognized national advisory organization, establishing long-standing relationships throughout the Long Island community.
