In the workplace I pride myself on hard work and being able to connect others around me. Being an athlete most of my life and playing college basketball has instilled these values in me. An experience that has helped shape the person I have become today is when I was offered a job that was outside of my comfort zone and required me to step up and lead a team. At first I was hesitant because it was a big step, but I realized I could not pass up on the opportunity. Taking this job allowed for me to grow in so many ways as a leader and person.
