Robert Gentile
Amherst, Massachusetts, United States
After receiving my B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a minor in Psychology and Biology from UMass Amherst I decided to further my education. I am currently a master's student at UMass studying Microbiology with a concentration in Applied Molecular Biotechnology. When not at school I am an EMT-Basic for Fallon Ambulance based out of Quincy, MA.
Between working as an EMT and working in a lab I have learned that my passion is in medicine. From being an EMT I have seen the patient care aspect of medicine and love every minute of it. After finishing my master's program I plan to work in biotech, whether it be for a pharmaceutical company or some other aspect of the medical community.
My goal is to figure out if I want to work behind the scenes and help on a larger scale in industry or work on an individual level and continue on to medical school.
