Robert C. Goodwin

For the past 20 years, Rob Goodwin has worked equally as producer, performing artist, and arts educator. Mr. Goodwin as arts educator has led and instructed programs in New York City with organizations such as the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning, Cooper Union/CAP Program, City at Peace, and the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Bronx Community College in the state and city university systems of New York; in St. Louis, MO he was a member of the St. Louis Black Repertory Company; and in Chicago, he is the outgoing Director of Outreach and Guest Lecturer at University of Chicago’s University Theater.

Currently, Mr. Goodwin is a teaching artist with Urban Gateways and is the Co-Founder of the ready arts incubator youth arts organization. Mr. Goodwin holds an MFA-Acting from The Theatre School-DePaul University. He has been seen in national commercials, regional theatre and feature film. His first documentary, “You’ll be a Man”, which delves into rites of passage and manhood development, is in film festival consideration for 2012-2013.
