Robert Kasirer spent years building a career in the real estate financing and long-term health care industries. During his time at Manatt, Phelps, Rothenberg & Phillips, a law firm based in Los Angeles, Robert Kasirer worked in real estate financing and development, focusing on senior housing, health care properties, and retirement communities. Mr. Kasirer's focus on senior adult health care was also evident in his time spent at the Sherman Oaks, California, Golden State Health Centers, Inc. Golden State owns and operates a network of skilled care facilities, and Mr. Kasirer was involved with oversight of corporate operations, while still retaining his focus on quality care for senior adults and individuals with disabilities.

The inventor of a user interface for managing intermediate and skilled health care facilities through the use of computer networks, Robert Kasirer earned a patent for his process in 2002. He tapped his experience and understanding of the health care industry to develop a method that uses a central server to provide links to vendors, affording an integrated procurement process enforcing the rules of the user facility.

Previously, Mr. Kasirer served on the UCLA Institute of Aging Board of Directors. He also spent several years as an integral member of the External Advisory Board of the Institute on Aging (IOA) at the University of Pennsylvania. The university's IOA faculty researchers are nationally recognized for their work in Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and other late-life chronic diseases. Currently, Mr. Kasirer serves as a Board Member of the Jacob Rose Family Foundation, providing funding and leadership to the interdisciplinary study of aging.

Robert Kasirer provides charitable support to several educational institutions, including the Harvard-Westlake School, an independent college preparatory day school in Los Angeles for grades 7 through 12. He also offers his support to Camp Ramah in California and Camp Ramah in the Berkshires. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, skiing, and golfing.
