In 1996, Robert was recruited and relocated to Nashville, TN by Community Health Systems (CHS). He was on the ground floor of what would become one of the nation's largest healthcare corporations. Their mission was to take modern healthcare to rural communities all across America. Mr. Morris was part of an Information Technology team that laid the ground work for CHS to take their managed care formula to underdeveloped rural hospitals and clinics in small communities from coast to coast. During his tenure he managed corporate projects, onsite transitions and strategy of acquisitions for 45 hospitals, hundreds of ambulatory clinics, and skilled nursing facilities. He got a first-hand look at how the healthcare system works and how to make it better.

In 2000, Mr. Morris accepted an entrepreneurial position to lead a technical consulting team for one of Tennessee's largest IBM system resellers.

In 2002 Robert joined ranks with several other entrepreneurs at the local office of a national consulting firm, NetSetgo. Morris and team raised capital and purchased the Nashville office. iNet Strategy was founded in 2002. Robert lead the company, team and its mission for 8 years. Robert and his team built over a thousand services and applications for local, state and federal governments, start ups and leading healthcare corporations. The company grew revenue 2,000% and sold to private investors.

In May of 2010 Robert joined the tnREC (ONC Regional Extension Center) as the MidTN Regional Manager. His primary responsibility was to help hire staff, design delivery services & start the organization and recruit primary care physicians to adopt EMRs to reach Meaningful Use. This role required extensive community outreach on the many changes impacting healthcare providers with the Affordable Care Act. It was that mission that caused the entrepreneurial juices to flow once again.

In 2011 Robert joined several former team members from CHS @ Ion IT Group to create & provide Healthcare IT Services. He and his team created telehealth clinical solutions and HIPAA compliance design & risk audit services. The teams flagship video telemedicine & remote patient monitoring solution, Vital Connex managed vital sign data that was collected from bio-medical devices for chronic disease patients.

Nov 2017 Mr Morris joined the team at TekLinks/C Spire Business Solutions as VP of Healthcare & Security Solution Services. #Healthcare #cybersecurity #TeleMedicine #HIT #InfoSec
