I've slogged my guts out in film, television and live events as a location & production assistant, production coordinator, assistant director, stage-hand/manager, producer, director and writer. I've worked with Brando, Pacino, Hopkins and tons more. As a stage manager I've walked hand-in-hand with Halle Berry, swapped Austin powers impersonations with Mike Myers and chatted to Annette Bening about how she shouldn’t take her drink onstage with her. I've been a diamond courier, truck driver, salesman, cinema usher, video game tester, voice & data cable installer, gas station attendant, factory laborer and carnival ride operator. I co-wrote the indie action/horror film Mexican Devil (aka Project x27) starring Danny Trejo and wrote, produced and directed the short film "Bedbug" which can be seen on YouTube. Like Roderick Thorpe did before Die Hard broke out, I'm couch surfing and, like Mr. Thorpe, waiting for my breakout novel to.... well, breakout!
My first novel, The Scare, was adapted from a screenplay I wrote in homage to 80s/90s style horror films. Girlfriend Trouble and Thunder Rising also started as screenplays - Thunder Rising originally had the working title of "Jaws on a Prairie in the Old West.”
