I am the founding Director of the new interdisciplinary School of Digital Sciences at Kent State University, a former Chair of the Kent State Computer Science Department, an advocate for gender diversity in computing, a strong supporter and Lifetime Distinguished Member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), a "serious amateur" photographer, a social media afficianado, a longtime Apple / MacBook / iPhone / iPad entheusiast, a fan of figure skating, and Dr. Ellen Walker's husband.
