I am Associate Professor and Chair in the Criminal Justice Department at Worcester State University. My teaching and resarch interests include Mental Health, Sociology, and Criminal Justice (courts, culture, criminology, constitutional and criminal law). My book "Cheaper by the Hour" (Temple University Press, 2011) is an ethnographic account of temporary attorneys doing "document review" in Washington D.C. (See http://www.temple.edu/tempress/titles/2105_reg.html). The book combines participant-observer methods with interviews to provide a richly-detailed portrait of the temporary attorney subculture.
The photo is one I took in Halong Bay on a trip to Vietnam in January 2010.
