Robert D. Griego, MD

Robert D. Griego, MD, serves as President of Skin Cancer Specialists, Ltd., in Mesa, Arizona, where he and his staff perform complex surgical procedures in order to treat and remove skin cancer. After graduating from Arizona State University as a member of Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society, Robert D. Griego, MD, pursued his medical degree at The University of Arizona, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class and held membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Following his studies, Dr. Griego completed fellowships at The University of Arizona College of Medicine, Baylor College of Medicine, and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Shadyside in various aspects of dermatology. Since completing his education in 1996, Robert D. Griego, MD, has provided superior care to patients at his practice. Applying his expertise, he strives to maintain a high level of patient satisfaction. He offers additional facial reconstruction services after cancer treatment, if required. Employing Mohs micrographic surgery, Robert D. Griego, MD, treats patients with skin cancer by removing layers of malignant tissue from the affected area until the cancer is completely removed. Certified by The American Board of Dermatology, Inc., he is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. Actively involved in his field, Robert D. Griego, MD, shares best practices with his peers and stay current on new technological developments in his field. Dr. Griego also serves as President and Medical Director of Desert Cliffs Ambulatory Surgical Facility. Residing in Mesa, Dr. Griego lives with his wife, Dr. Carole Bresnahan Griego, MD, and their three children.
