Roberta
London, UK
My name is Roberta (as you have probably guessed), and I am a 20 year old student from London, UK. I have always been passionate about observing and noting down the reality of life, particularly city life.
I moved to London when I was 6 years old from a small island in Italy called Sardinia. I'm going to be really honest with you, the most useful thing about having a dual nationality is the beauty of speaking a second language; identity wise I am very much English. I grew up in London and the majority of the memories I remember all take place in the gritty bitty city famous for a little known gal called Liz...or Elizabeth for any devout royalist out there.
I study English Literature at University, which is good fun when your eyes aren't crossing from endless attempts at reading critical essays and your brain isn't melting from the reality of 4 hour exams...
When I'm not working on 'The Amateur Londoner', I'm sending a bunch of emails and CV's for work experience, internships and part-time work; in hope that, in the future, I can work in Broadcast Journalism. I also (shocking I know) enjoy having a social life and working to complete my degree.
