A graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, Robert Apple holds a bachelor of arts in business. After beginning his career as an administrator in the luxury hotel industry, he expanded into the field of real estate development. Concentrating on speculation building, Robert Apple secured his general contractor license and established Los Angeles’ KOM Construction in 1992.
Mr. Apple’s work with KOM Construction has included completing multimillion-dollar projects in the luxurious Trousdale Estates and the historic Villa Elaine apartment complex. All told, his residential and commercial development projects with KOM have a net worth that exceeds $120 million.
Outside of the professional environment, Robert Apple makes regular donations to a number of important initiatives, including cancer research at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and home-building efforts through Homes for Our Troops. His hobbies include hiking, tennis, swimming, surfing, skiing, and motocross. A dedicated father, he enjoys spending quality time with his three sons.
